Representative, South Carolina House — District 98
From his first breath, Greg has called South Carolina home. The majority of his education, as well as his military enlistment, was in South Carolina. Greg holds a solid foundation rooted in South Carolina values and traditions — a passion for this state and for District 98 that drives his commitment to proactive, principled legislative action.
Greg is a third-generation, active-duty-retired Air Force veteran, decorated for service during Iraq and Afghanistan combat operations across multiple tours. He built an impeccable record as a top-level military advisor, holding leadership positions at every level of the military and contracting sector. Over his career he traveled to 92 countries, building relationships across every race, creed, color, and background — including a memorable assignment in Pápa, Hungary, as a Senior Aviation Operations Advisor for a NATO unit spanning 12 nations.
Greg is a 2010 graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (B.S., Professional Aeronautics) and a 2018 graduate of The Citadel (M.S., Leadership). He is currently completing a Doctorate of Education in Leadership at Charleston Southern University.
Greg has been married to his wife for 26 years, and together they have a son and a daughter. When he's not in Columbia, you'll find him at the family farm caring for and training horses, or out hunting and fishing across the great state of South Carolina.
Greg's military career instilled daily practice in negotiation, decision-making with honor and duty, and innovative problem-solving. As a collaborator, he respects others' opinions while ensuring every task is completed efficiently — well-versed in change management, strategic planning, process improvement, conflict resolution, and project management.
